Project Manager

Location: Fort Lee, NJ.

Duration: 12 Months+

Experience: 8 yrs.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Employ best practices, such as leading the effort to define use case models and activity diagrams as appropriate, to clearly define User Stories
• Develop and maintain a Product Backlog of User Stories
• Accurately and concisely articulate risks, issues, questions, and recommendations to the Business, Scrum Team members and management
• Effectively maintain and reference project velocity while working with Scrum Teams during both sprint and release planning
• Ensure relationships with the stakeholders and cross-team members are professional and meet management expectations
• Act as a liaison between the Business and development, providing insight to each team of the others needs and expectations

 

Skills and Experiences:

• Must have experience in Project Management within a government agency
• Knowledge of public sector, political environments, or higher education organizations
• Experience in Project Planning/Project Management/Methodologies
• Must be able to effectively communicate expectations to project team
• 5+ year experience managing IT solution implementations
• PMP Certification-Preferred
• Experience with Java, Java Script, MS products, Adobe, SQL, and HTML a plus
